Margaret Cheatham Williams is an independent photographer and filmmaker.
Previously, she worked for the New York Times, where she sought stories that examined the intersection of family, health and personal identity. In a past life, she was a video intern for The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post and MediaStorm, an award winning multimedia production house. Her work has been recognized by the Cannes Film Festival, Hearst Foundation, Pictures of the Year International, the National Press Photographers Association, and the South by Southwest interactive awards. She adores pineapple, her husband frank, and their West Virginian mutt, Duma.
